What is Lauren’s Run & Picnic?

Each year, more than two thousand people gather to walk and run in support of CURE at Lauren’s Run & Picnic, in memory of two special girls named Lauren. The event truly brings the community together, with families, individuals, schools, and companies forming teams to support the fight to cure childhood cancer. Beginning with a 5K and 2k run/walk, the race is followed by a family-friendly picnic, complete with food, a live DJ, inflatables, carnival games, arts and crafts, and so much more. The CURE picnic is a reunion opportunity for our families and a day of fun for all.

Since its inception, Lauren’s Run has raised more than $5.5 million in the fight against childhood cancer. Proceeds from Lauren’s Run & Picnic are used to advance research and provide support to impacted families.

How do I fundraise to help kids with cancer?

Fundraising is such an important part of Lauren’s Run & Picnic. Every dollar raised helps to advance research for cures and support families! Create a fundraising page, share your reasons for wanting to help, and ask friends and family to donate. It’s that easy! We will provide emails and posts you can share or you can create your own. The most important thing to remember is that every dollar raised helps these kids!

*Fundraising totals will be based on results as of noon on Friday, April 26, 2024
