Ticket Selling Process:

Tickets sold online to people who are registering for the fun run will receive their ticket stubs in their race registration packet.

Tickets sold online to people who will not be present at the drawing/not participating in the Move for the Museum 5K Run/Walk will be mailed their ticket stubs by USPS within 7 business days of the event to their address entered at their time of purchase.

The Move for the Museum Committee, or those appointed by such, will manage the distribution and in-person ticket sales.

Ticket sales are final and may not be returned or resold.

Drawing Procedures:

All tickets that have been sold will be placed into a spinning basket during the Awards Ceremony of the 2026 Move for the Museum 5k Run/Walk.

One person who is either a Board Member, volunteer, or a staff member of the Santa Fe Children’s Museum will be selected to draw the winning tickets. That person will spin the basket and then draw one ticket and the winner’s name will be announced. Each raffle winner gets to approach the raffle prize table receive their prize (donated goods and services from the community). Additional winning tickets will be drawn in the same fashion and the winner's name announced. This process will continue until all prizes have been assigned to a winner.

In the event that there is a winner drawn who is not present to claim the prize, Museum staff will attempt to contact that winner using the phone number listed on the ticket 3 times on 3 separate days over the course of the next 10 days. If after the 10th day that winner has not responded to our attempts to contact, their prize will be forfeited and saved by Museum staff to be used as a prize in the next raffle held by the Museum.
