About this Race Series

Welcome to the 2015 ESM Sprint Triathlon Grand Prix race series. 

Individuals can accumulate points by placing in five year age divisions at our six (6) POOL SPRINT events or four (4) lake triathlon GRAND PRIX events. The Tellico Summer Solstice & Atomic Sprint races earn DOUBLE POINTS. The top five individual male & female in each five year age group with the most points will receive an Endurance Multi-Sport Athlete Award (minimum 3 events participated). Awards 5 deep in both female and male five year age group divisions will be presented during the final event of each series -Note: we may need to do some quick math & updating from site , so please bear with us!

Awards:

* All Sprint Grand Prix Winners will receive a trophy & special gift. Note: participation in 3 events needed 

* Top M & F Age Group Winner - One free race entry to a race on the next Sprint Grand Prix schedule.

Scoring

* Individuals can accumulate points by placing in any one of the overall or age divisions.
* Points from the best 6 races for individuals will be scored.
* Tellico Summer Solstice & Atomic Sprints earn DOUBLE POINTS
* If points are earned in more than 6 races then the best 6 scores will be used.
*Points are awarded as follows:

1st place, age division = 10 points -  2nd place, age division = 9 points - 3rd place, age division = 8 points - 4th place, age division = 7 points - 5th place, age division = 6 points - 6th Place, age division = 5 points - 7th place, age division = 4 points - 8th place, age division = 3 points - 9th place, age division = 2 points - 10th place, age group = 1 point  - (Clydesdale/Athena 1-10 also)
