Thank you for visiting my fundraising page supporting Bastion Community of Resilience through the Crescent City Classic. Bastion is an intentionally designed neighborhood in New Orleans for returning warriors and families with lifelong rehabilitative needs. Bastion consists of 58 apartment homes and a wellness center, and is home to over 100 residents.
Our support of Bastion allows our nation's warriors and their families access to the Veteran Health and Reintegration Initiative at Bastion. The Veteran Health and Reintegration Initiative consists of onsite social work services, healthcare navigation, financial assistance to offset relocation expenses, and education and wellness activities. These activities currently include yoga, Mind-Body Skills groups, music and art therapies, and more!
