Whether you're getting ready for that Fall full or half marathon or looking to test your summer training in a 5K, the Big Bad Wolfe Run is for you. We have race options of 5K, 10 miles, and 20 miles. Join us on September 30th for something great, the Big Bad Wolfe Run. This race is all on the paved asphalt Alum Creek Trail, it is not a trail run.
We're going to deliver great swag, finisher medals for everyone, and a fun time. You're going to deliver the memories. Band together with the rest of the villagers and come run with us!
As you take part in the Big Bad Wolfe Run, you'll be joining in the tradition of keeping the big bad wolf at bay. Just as the folks of Central Ohio have done for generations, kick off your Fall by wearing red and hitting the paths in memory of Little Red.
This year's Big Bad Wolfe Run will be accepting donations to fight poverty in our community through United Way of Central Ohio. Founded in 1923, United Way of Central Ohio is one of the largest United Ways in the country, bringing together more than 80,000 donors, advocates and volunteers to become a powerful force for good. Registrants can donate to United Way of Central Ohio here, and also take things to the next level by signing up to do some additional fundraising and become a Hand Raiser.
Check out their 2017 campaign video below to learn how your donation dollars help your community.
The Big Bad Wolfe Run pays tribute to one of the legends of central Ohio, Little Red. For the full story, please be sure to read up on the legend of Little Red here.
A gray hooded sweatshirt will be included as part of your registration fee. Register now to guarantee yourself some awesome swag!
All 20 Miler, 10 Miler, and 5K finishers will receive a sweet Big Bad Wolfe Run finisher medal. All Kid's Run participants will receive a ribbon.
