I am honored to participate in the 2025 Crescent City Classic as a charity runner for Grace at the Green Light, a terrific nonprofit that offers our New Orleans unhoused community choices while providing for their basic needs in a loving manner that embraces the human spirit.
Grace is the only organization that provides daily intensive case management and nutritional support, 365 days a year, for those not staying overnight in local shelters. Since its founding in 2014, Grace has:
- Served over 345,000 meals and 40,000 items of clothing (Meals with Love)
- Reunited over 3,250 individuals with family, with 94% remaining housed after 3 months (Going Home)
- Installed 11 water fountains and distributed over 1.3 million water bottles (Hydrate NOLA)
