Eliana's back for her 6th(!!) year raising funds for St. Joe's Commit to Community 5K!
Over the years, you've helped Eliana raise a whopping $7,000 for this cause! This year, her goal is to raise $2,000 more.
But here's this year’s twist: We want YOU to inspire Eliana's community volunteer work this summer! With every donation, please include a note with a suggested cause close to your heart - from caring for our environment, to addressing food insecurity, to animal welfare and more.
Eliana will then volunteer her time accordingly, giving back around our community in ways that matter most to you! Stay tuned for updates on her summer of service. Ready to make a difference? Donate now and share your suggested cause with us!
Some suggested local causes:
-Food Insecurity! Hope for the Homeless Bag Prepping, Volunteering at a Local Soup Kitchen
-Animal Welfare! Animal Orphanage
-Clothing! Clothing Closet
-Housing Insecurity! Area Homeless Shelter Clean Up Efforts
-Caring for our Environment! Local Park or Downtown Clean Up
-Literacy! Little Library Book Donations and Distributions
St. Joe's SAFE Nurse Program is the only program of it's kind in Maine. Through the generous support of donors and those who participate and donate to this annual fundraiser, St. Joes is able to employ a team of specially trained nurses, ensuring that 100% of survivors of violence needing emergency care at St. Joes are cared for by a certified SAFE (sexual assault and forensic examiner) nurse. Thank you for giving to this fundraising and ensuring people in need of care are provided the compassionate, trauma-informed care they deserve.
Eliana will be doing the kids fun run/obstacle course and then joining us for the 5k walk. Want to join us? Sign up and join Eliana’s team - Sole Mates, we would love to have you. Thanks friends!
