Family and Friends,
As a breast cancer survivor, I'm passionate about fundraising and advocating for breast cancer and research. That's why I'm partnering with the Donna Foundation.
Over the last two decades, the Donna Foundation has helped support more than 19,000 families living with breast cancer through The DONNA CareLine, contributed more than $3.3M towards groundbreaking breast cancer research, and celebrated survivorship with more than 140,000 athletes crossing the DONNA finish lines including The National Marathon to Finish Breast Cancer.
The Donna Foundation's CareLine is where people affected with breast cancer can call to receive financial assistance while going through treatment. 51% of patients served by the DONNA CareLine have an annual income of under $24K. Imagine in this economy, having to choose between feeding your family or paying for a utilities bill versus paying for cancer treatment.
That's why I have a goal of $7500 this year to help those in need. For every $50 raised, someone gets transportation to treatment. For every $100 raised, someone will be able to pay a utility bill during treatment.
Let's make a difference and provide hope this year, because we are stronger than cancer!
