HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE! No family is immune.
I am fundraising for Rage Against Addiction. I will be participating in the Rage Against Addiction Memory Walk/Run this year. There are two amazing options: the in-person event takes place on Saturday, 4/12/25 at Cedar Lane Regional Park in Bel Air, MD. The virtual option runs all through April.
This event helps those still struggling with addiction, celebrates those in recovery, and remembers the lives lost to this awful epidemic.
Rage Against Addiction provides awareness and support to anyone affected by the disease of addiction, including the family. Donations will help us carry on our mission and will continue offering our programs:
- Daughter's House: Designed to assist women who are transitioning from substance abuse treatment to recovery; includes three sober living houses (Daughter’s House, Sister House, and The Cottage) located in the suburbs of Harford County, MD. The Cottage is a medication-assisted treatment (MAT) recovery house tailored to meet each person’s needs.
- HALO (How to Live Without Our Addicted Loved One): An online grief support group specifically for those who lost loved ones to substance abuse.
- RAA ABC (After Baby Care): Provides post-partum care packages for new mothers in early recovery.
- Rage Club: This program is a resource broker for families and children who have been touched by the devastation of addiction; we encourage open and ongoing conversations as we believe that is the first step in the healing process.
- Sober Living Funding: provides financial support to qualified applicants in Maryland. Qualifications include but are not limited to verification and an interview. Availability is limited.
On behalf of Rage Against Addiction, I thank you for your support and generosity.
