Hi, my name is Rayana , and I’m excited to participate in the Flutie 5K for Autism in support of the Black Autism Coalition (BAC)  an organization that my siblings and I are proud to be a part of.

This run is very personal to me because I’m running in honor of my brother and my sister. 

Being their sister has taught me about love, patience, acceptance, inclusion, and the importance of recognizing the gifts within every person. They inspire me to continue creating spaces where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and able to shine.

That love also inspired me to become the founder of Shining Gifts, where I teach my siblings and others how to worship, express themselves, build confidence, and use the beautiful gifts God has given them. 

The Black Autism Coalition has become part of our journey as a family. Being part of a community that celebrates our families, understands our experiences, and creates opportunities for autistic individuals and their siblings means so much to us.

That is why I am proud to run in support of BAC.

Every step I take will be for my brother, my sister, and the many autistic children, teens, adults, and families who deserve to feel supported, included, and celebrated.
