THE RACE

The Wilmington Surgical Associates Run for the Ta Tas presented by Delaney Radiology, is a 5K Chaser Race and 1 Mile.

5K Timed Chaser Race
This is not your typical 5K – a Chaser Race is a unique format where women start first, giving them a head start over the men. Men start exactly 2:00 minutes after the women (Hint on the name: Run For the Ta Tas). Participants are eligible for prizes.

5K Not Timed
We've added a 5K Fun Run/Walk. This event is NOT timed and is perfect for participants not worried about their finish time. These participants are not eligible for awards.

1 Mile Fun Run / Walk
You can walk or run the 1 Mile. The 1 Mile is not timed.

Participants who register by September 3, 2025 and attend packet pickup or the race, will receive a shirt in their size. All others can choose from remaining sizes.
All finishers receive a medal.

THE COURSE

Mayfaire Town Center
(between Fuel Fitness & Regal Mayfaire)

This is a fast and flat paved road course that takes runners around Mayfaire Town Center, with little road traffic.

This race course is also stroller & wheelchair friendly! However, dogs are not allowed on this course so please leave them at home or with a non-running spectator.

PROJECTS THE EVENT SUPPORTS

This year's race donates funds to three wonderful organizations that aid in the fight against breast cancer.

The Pink Ribbon Project provides patients access to 3D mammography screenings.

Love is Bald raises money for cancer patients and their families.

Going Beyond the Pink’s mission is to offer free access to support resources, health and wellness education,  and financial assistance to the breast cancer community.
