Start your training season early with a duathlon at Woodward Park in Fresno, CA.

NOTE: A Valid USAT membership is required for the Duathlon, (but not the 5K/10K)  If you do not have one, you can purchase on during the registration process.

Athletes will seed with fastest runners starting first and slowest last to reduce passing. Athletes will start in 15 second increments with your race time beginning when you cross the start line.

Course Map: Start/Finish & Transition
  • Transition opens at 7:00am for Duathletes
  • Athletes will lineup on cones separated by 6 feet at the start line
  • Fastest runners first, slower runners last to reduce passing
  • Runners start one at a time every 15 seconds.

Start by the "compass" at the northwest corner of Woodward Park.  Run West to the "cow loop", up the middle to the bridge.  Turn around at the bridge.  As you pass the bathroom, stay to the right, run past the RV Park, then continue on the path and return to the "Compass"

Out Eaton Trail to Old Friant Road, passing the River Center, to Friant Road.  Turn right on Friant Road, go up the hill and turn right onto Old Friant Road for a second loop past the River Center. Continue to Friant Road, turn right and continue to the Ft Washington entrance of Woodward Park. 

Start by the "compass" at the northwest corner of Woodward Park.  Run West to the "cow loop", up the middle to the bridge. Cross the bridge, stay to the right as you do the 1 mile loop,  Return across the bridge.  As you pass the bathroom, stay to the right, run past the RV Park, then continue on the path and return to the "Compass"

Covid-19 Safety Measures

Packet Pickup and Registration

  • There will be no in person or paper registration.
  • Online registration will remain open until race start.

Race Day

  • Masks will be required before and after the race. Masks will not be required during the event.
  • Athletes will receive a self-evaluation question to help determine if they should stay home or return to racing.
  • Anyone with a temperature of 100.0 F or higher should stay home.
  • Race debriefing will be pre-recorded and playing during set up to eliminate an athlete meeting. Additional information may be provided at race start to small groups of athletes.
  • Bike racks will be spaced with 6 feet between bike racks.
  • Racks will be marked for two athletes per rack
  • Race will be a rolling time trial with chipped start
  • While aid stations will be provided, athletes are encouraged to bring their own water to limit contact
  • Race tattoos will be provided in race packets and should be applied prior to arriving at the race venue.
  • Virtual awards ceremony and mailed awards
  • Post race food will be pre-packaged for the athlete to take to go

Spectators

  • Spectators are not allowed. Friends and family are encouraged to volunteer.

Refund Policy Update

  • If an athlete has a fever, suspects Covid symptoms, or is concerned about racing at this time they can defer or transfer their registration to another race.
