Last summer, I spent six weeks in Malawi—my birthplace and the heart of Pamoza International’s work. As Executive Director of this Christian nonprofit founded by my father, I witness firsthand how your support transforms lives in rural communities.
One story I can’t forget is Maria’s. She was so sick with malaria she could barely walk, but she knew that without treatment, she might not survive. So, she fought her way to our clinic—walking nearly two miles, stopping often to rest. Just one week later, I saw her again—holding her child, smiling, and full of life. The medicine we provided saved her.
Maria was one of the fortunate ones. Last year, malaria cases surged, and Pamoza’s clinic treated over 6,000 patients. Some walked more than 10 miles—desperate for care and clinging to hope. Because of events like Miles for Malawi, we were able to respond with life-saving medicine and compassionate care.
This year, I’m setting a personal goal to raise $4,300—that’s one hundred dollars for every year of my life and enough to keep our clinic stocked with medicine for two full months.
Will you help me reach this goal? Whether you walk, run, donate, or spread the word, every step you take brings healing, hope, and transformation to families in Malawi.
Thank you for walking with me (and Maria)!
