Bring your friends and family and come join us for a FAST, EASY, and FUN one mile walk/run hosted by the Dahlonega Sunrise Rotary Club. The 4th Annual Wimpy Mile on Feb 15th, 2025, is an iconic event, boasting a 178' DROP in elevation from start to finish.
Starting from Hancock Park in downtown Dahlonega, the certified mile course moves downhill along Wimpy Mill Rd to finish at the Yahoola Reservoir boat ramp. The race provides a great opportunity for serious runners to achieve a PR...and a fun, scenic course for joggers, walkers, families, and your four-legged friends as well.

Dahlonega Sunrise Rotary Club is an active community organization of service-minded volunteers. The Wimpy Mile is a major fundraiser effort for our Club.
