NWANA Events
NWANA Events bring people, organizations, sponsors, partners, leaders, and communities together beyond regular challenges and competitions.
These events help NWANA build relationships, raise funds, educate leaders, recognize achievement, connect partners, and create new opportunities for Nordic Walking across North America.
What Counts as an NWANA Event?
NWANA Events may include:
- forums and conferences
- galas and fundraising events
- awards and recognition events
- clinics and workshops
- academy-related sessions
- sponsor and partner gatherings
- community programs
- health and wellness events
- event director and organizer meetings
- special public programs connected to NWANA development
Why Events Matter
Nordic Walking development needs more than registration pages and results. It needs people in the same room, organizations working together, sponsors seeing the mission, leaders learning, and communities building trust.
NWANA Events help turn interest into relationships, partnerships, fundraising, training, local programs, and long-term sport development.
For Participants and Supporters
Events give participants, families, supporters, volunteers, donors, and community members a way to connect with NWANA beyond a challenge or competition.
They may also create opportunities to learn, celebrate, support funds, meet leaders, discover programs, and bring Nordic Walking into more communities.
For Partners and Sponsors
Events can give partners and sponsors a visible way to support NWANA’s mission, meet participants and leaders, fund programs, support education, and connect with communities.
Sponsor-supported events may help fund instructor development, community programs, competition pathways, local groups, awards, conferences, clinics, or future championship-related activities.
For Organizers and Hosts
NWANA may work with organizations, venues, race directors, municipalities, schools, clubs, and community partners to host or support events that align with NWANA’s mission.
Events can be local, regional, national, virtual, hybrid, educational, fundraising-focused, or connected to larger NWANA programs.
Current and Future Events
NWANA is building an event pathway that can grow over time. Current and future events may be announced through this hub, NWANA communications, partner channels, and related RunSignup or TicketSignup pages.
