Running together is a great way to meet other runners while getting your miles in. We have plenty of club members out and about every week. Even if you’re not a club member, you’re welcome to join those BGRs when they are running. We run at a variety of paces, and walkers are welcome. You can also find a running buddy and stay up to date on run time/location changes by joining our Facebook group.
Just getting into (or back into) running? New to Bluegrass Runners and looking for other fun people to run with? This is the perfect run for you. We meet Sunday mornings at 8:00 am at Shillito Park (meet in the parking lot by the pool). All paces are welcome. This 2.5-mile paved loop will allow runners to go as far and fast as they want. Each week, at least 2-3 more experienced club members will volunteer to run with newcomers, offering advice or just conversation. Although this is geared toward new runners, all are welcome on Sunday mornings.

Club run times and locations are subject to change, especially around holidays and during times of inclement weather. Stay up to date and please check for any changes by joining or checking our Facebook group. This is the best place to get information on the run and any time or location changes, as well as to see who may be running the distance you need that week.
If you do not have Facebook, email firstname.lastname@example.org and we can put you in touch with someone who can give you more details about the run.
