Thoroughbred Classic and Kay Collins Memorial Mile 5K
Thoroughbred Classic has hit forty years and is still running strong . During the past year the race raised over $40,000 for a variety of local charities hand-picked by our Charity Committee, including Allegro Dance Project, Broke Spoke, CASA, Kentucky Radio Eye, Kentucky Equal Justice Center, E7 Kids' Cafe, and Operation Secret Santa.
Our newest race partnership raises money with Ironcology for cancer patient support at Survive the Night Relays, now in its tenth year of raising funds to help cancer patients meet the ancillary costs of their cancer treatments, such as housing, travel, and meal costs.
