Delta Township Roadside Shared-Use Paths

Wide roadside shared-use paths enhance Delta Township’s non-motorized network. Michigan Avenue features a path from Canal Road to Creyts Road, while St. Joseph Highway includes a path stretching from Creyts Road to Waverly Road. Together, these additions contribute over 3 miles to the township’s trail system.

Grand Ledge Trails

Grand Ledge offers a network of trails, including nearly 2 miles of roadside shared-use paths along Clinton Street and Saginaw Highway, branded as the "Wide Walk." These paths connect with a roughly 1-mile shared-use trail near the Grand River in downtown Grand Ledge. The area’s standout attraction is the unpaved Ledges Trail in Fitzgerald Park. This scenic trail runs alongside the Grand River at the base of sandstone formations carved by the river, offering visitors a unique natural experience.
