Our Marquee Races
The Fort Collins Running Club is the owner the following races. These races are fundraisers for the club and promote running and racing in our community.
Horsetooth Half Marathon: One of the oldest half-marathons in the United States. Fastest-run half marathon in Northern Colorado in 2013! Managed by Gnar Runners.
NoCo All Comers Track Meet Series: This series, which started in 2022 takes place over the summer in June & July. Each meet has 6-7 events.
FireKracker 5k: A fun, family-friendly race on Independence Day. Held since 2003. Managed by Green Events.
Resolution Run: A family-friendly New Year’s Eve 5k. Managed by Gnar Runners.
Tortoise & Hare Race Series (October-April): A unique, low-key “handicapped” race series using an exclusive, sophisticated algorithm to predict your race times. For FCRC members only. Join the Fort Collins Running Club today!
Bacon Strip: This is a classic Fort Collins race offering both 4- and 10-mile options, and falls right in line with Horsetooth Half Marathon training.
