Please feel free to join us at any of our runs with our compliments. If you decide you like the club and would like to run with us on a regular basis, we hope you'll become a member. Our membership year runs from July 1 to June 30. All members receive an LARC technical shirt, which can be picked up at our Wednesday meetup. We also have LARC tanks, socks, hats, and last season's shirts for sale at discounted prices for members.

Our regular activities include:

• Mondays: We meet at 6:45 pm at Playa Vista Elementary School (13150 Bluff Creek Drive) for running or walking around the Playa Vista neighborhood. The run or walk is usually between 4 and 6 miles. There is free parking in the school parking lot and on Bluff Creek Drive.
• Wednesdays: We have a coached track workout at Lincoln Middle School in Santa Monica starting at 6:30 pm. The workout includes a group warm-up, coached interval workouts for various paces/levels, and guided cool-down and stretching. We sometimes need to institute an advance sign-up system due to the number of participants expected and the city's limits on the number of athletes permitted on the track. Please follow us on social media for updates on whether advance sign-up is required. Lincoln Middle School is located at 1501 California Ave. in Santa Monica. The entrance to the track is from 16th Street, near the corner of Washington Ave. There is a small parking lot off 16th Street, or plenty of free street parking on the surrounding streets.

• Sunday Trail Running/Hiking: We hold periodic Sunday meetups for running, walking, or hiking in different locations around the LA area. Some members use these Sunday meetups as training for the Avalon 50K/50 Mile ultramarathons in January 2026, but others are welcome to join even if they are not training for a specific race. Dates, times, and meetup locations will be announced on social media and in our email newsletter. Also, look for announcements of our LA Marathon Course Preview Runs, which will take place in December and January.

Our Saturday meetups at the Totem Pole in Santa Monica are on hiatus until after the LA Marathon in March 2026.
