The F.R.4.M.E. Initiative exists to give young people the opportunity to see themselves as creators, storytellers, and leaders long before the world tells them otherwise. Founded in 2023 by Troy D. Davis Jr., F.R.4.M.E. was created to open doors to filmmaking and creative careers for elementary students who may never have imagined themselves behind a camera. Through hands-on, project-based learning, students don’t just learn about film — they make films. Working with real equipment and guided by college film interns from Chicago-area programs, students build confidence, teamwork, and creative skills as they bring their ideas to life. By the end of the program, each group produces a cinematic short film and a piece of branded content for a local small business, culminating in a powerful moment where their work is screened at a movie theater or film festival. In Fall 2026, F.R.4.M.E. will expand its mission with the launch of Grounded & Global, a new program designed to help high school students understand the power of service, community impact, and nonprofit leadership. Through real-world projects and mentorship, students will learn how change happens — and how they can be part of it. Your support makes moments like these possible. Thank you for believing in the creativity, potential, and future of our youth.
