This year I am stepping into Run For Your Life with more than a race in mind. Each mile, each breath, is for a life. A life we have lost. A life still here. A life caught in the quiet struggle of wondering if tomorrow is worth reaching.
For over fifty years, the Help Center, Inc. has been the place that answers when silence feels absolute. Imagine a voice on the other end of the line, steady and gentle, reminding someone at their most fragile moment that they are not alone. In that instant, the weight can feel just a little lighter, and the possibility of hope can begin to return.
This is why I run. To keep that voice alive. To make sure no call goes unanswered, no person is left believing their life does not matter.
