Each fall in Bozeman, more than 1,000 community members gather in costume on a Saturday morning in October: families, neighbors, students, dogs in capes and kids in superhero gear. Many run in honor of someone they have loved and lost. Others run because Help Center, Inc. answered their call for help, or the call from someone close to them.
We show up for those in their darkest moments. Through 988, the National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, and our local crisis line at 406-586-3333, Help Center is answering the call when someone reaches out. Run For Your Life is the community's annual gathering to support suicide prevention and awareness, the celebration and remembrance that funds the work the rest of the year.
However you show up, there is a place for you on the start line. Run it fast, walk it in costume, bring the kids, bring the dog, or join us from wherever you are.
Run For Your Life has grown from a small community event into one of Bozeman's most beloved fall traditions. Local businesses, families, and runners have shown up year after year.
