Chris passed away from melanoma in 2019 at the age of 40. When Chris was 23 years old he had a mole behind his ear, that was diagnosed as stage 4 melanoma (skin cancer). After Surgery he was told he would be fine. Twelve Years later the cancer came back, but this time it affected his brain. Chris was an inspirational speaking at many Pittsburgh Melanonma races. Chris succumbed to this deadly disease after battling for 4 year He will alwayss be remembered and celebrated.
