Pittsburgh Melanoma Foundation 5k Run/Walk

This is our 5k event that is hosted in-person. The course runs along Corrigan Drive in South Park. The event will take place on June 11th at 9AM. Registration fee includes a moisture-wicking t-shirt, bib number, and timing chip.

This event is geared toward younger kids. Each kid will receive a shirt for the $7 registration fee. If your child is a competitive runner and would like to be timed, they should register for the general 5k event. This event only includes a kids t-shirt and no bib number or timing chip.

So how does a virtual 5k work? Your registration fee includes our 5k t-shirt (polyester/cotton blend) and a race bib number. Since it's a virtual event this year, you have the flexibility to complete the 5k at your convenience. We encourage you to wear your race shirt and snap a few pictures as you're completing it. Feel free to complete it individually or with others. This is all up to you.

If your kids would like to participate in our 5k, but also can't make it in person, this is our virtual 5k option for kids. This only includes a kid-sized t-shirt and no bib number.
