I am a huge SPF advocate since I notice a mole on my leg changing shape and color in 2022. When it was biopsied in June 2022 they called back to say it was starting to turn into stage 0 melanoma (so not spreading). I finally was able to get it removed in September (got sick in July when it was originally supposed to be removed).
Thankfully they got it all out and it did not spread. I have been going every 6 months to get my entire body checked.
I have a big scar on the top of my right thigh to remind me every day to apply my SPF.
Use SPF, see a dermatologist once to twice a year, be your own health advocate!
