Shooting Star Adventures is a Gresham-based nonprofit creating meaningful outdoor experiences that help young people grow in confidence, resilience, and leadership.
Through our signature overnight program, Camp Two Roads, and our nature-based summer program, Ohdaka Day Camp, we intentionally design spaces where youth can unplug, take healthy risks, build friendships, and discover what they are capable of. But our impact doesn’t stop with campers.
We are deeply committed to growing local leaders. Many of our junior counselors and cabin staff began their journey with us as campers — and many come from within Gresham city limits. Through hands-on leadership roles, mentorship, and real responsibility, teens develop communication skills, emotional regulation, teamwork, and confidence that carries into their schools, jobs, and community life.
