2025 was “the best of times” and “the worst of times” at our house - - while there were some absolutely brutal medical events, there were also medical outcomes as full of grace and hope as one could ever want.  It was a roller coaster ride, to be sure!  I am thrilled to report that my CA125 has been normal since early September and that the most recent CT scans found no evidence of cancer.  I suspect there are rogue cells hiding somewhere in my body, but at the moment they are undiscoverable.  While not cured, I am immensely grateful for the inexplicable reprieve I have been given, for however long it lasts.  

2026 marks the 10th anniversary of the Race; we are committed to making it the best yet in terms of participant experience and fundraising.  Eileen and I hope each of you will join the team, join us in Baltimore in June, and join us in supporting the doctors and staff dedicated to treating the gynecologic oncology needs of all women.  As in the past, virtual participation is also an active option that we encourage you to consider if being in Baltimore is not feasible for you this year.  We are so proud and so grateful that 2 Moms Media was recognized as the Top Fundraising Team for the 2025 event, a feat we hope to match or exceed for 2026.
