The Belmar Goodwill Hose Fire Co. #1 and the Jersey Shore Running Club are pleased to announce that the 48th Annual Belmar Five Mile Run will be held on Saturday, August 31st and Kids races on Friday, August 30th! In 2023, over 2,500 participants in the Belmar Five events made this race one of the premier racing events at the Jersey Shore. The Jersey Shore Running Club is dedicated to helping LOCAL charitable organizations in promoting a healthy lifestyle through running and walking. The Goodwill Hose Fire Company is a 100% volunteer organization dedicated to provide emergency fire and rescue services to residents and visitors to the Borough of Belmar 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The squad relies on charitable contributions raised by this fundraiser to help defray some of the operating costs of the fire company.
Our committee is busy making preparations for this year’s event. A huge part of the impact of this race is donations generated through fundraising. Our overall success of this fundraiser relies on generosity and support of contributions from sponsors like you. The Goodwill Fire Company and the Belmar 5 Race Committee would be grateful if you would consider supporting this year's event. Support opportunities range from $200 to $3,000 and the benefits to your company or organization are explained in the enclosed Sponsorship Opportunities form. Each category guarantees your company exposure to the thousands of participants, making you a vital community partner in supporting the Goodwill Hose Fire Company. For example, a $500 contribution will assure that your company’s logo will be printed on the approximately 2,500 official Belmar Five race shirts worn by participants, posted to the RunSignUp registration website with a direct link to your website and included in all eblasts with a database of over 10,000 email addresses. Logo placement on the race shirt go from top to bottom and bigger to smaller based on the monetary level of sponsorship. You may also want to consider reserving a space at our Race Expo in Silver Lake Park on race day for a $200 fee or equivalent product value.
If you are interested in becoming a Sponsor, please complete the enclosed form, include a check payable to Goodwill Hose Co. and mail it to Belmar Five, PO Box 21, Belmar, NJ 07719. We request that all sponsorship forms be returned no later than July 15, 2024 to ensure that your logo is included on the race t-shirt and that your company receives maximum recognition from visits to the registration website during peak registration period. Additionally, please email your company logo to belmarfive@yahoo.com.
Can’t be a sponsor for this year? You can still give our runners a treat by donating gift certificates or merchandise for race day raffle prizes given away during our post-race celebration at Bar Anticipation. Your company’s name will be announced as we give your donation away.
