REQUIREMENTS
The 10k is open to all ages and abilities. You may run or walk. Strollers and Inclusive Athletes welcome. Inclusive athletes please contact the Race Director prior to the start for seeding. Strollers, please seed yourself based on your pace.
FIELD SIZE
The 5k field will be capped at 1,000 runners. The Race Director reserves the right to change the size of the 10K field.
REGISTRATION
Registration for the Bethany Beach First Responders 10k is available HERE. Once you have registered, please take the time to confirm the accuracy of the information. You may be able to look up and edit your information by logging into your RunSignUp account. You will also have 15 mins. to clear the registration if you notice a mistake. This can only be done from the registration confirmation page.

10k COURSE
The 10k course starts in downtown Bethany Beach and continues around Bethany Beach. After a loop of Bethany there is a short out and back. From here you transition on to the world famous Bethany Beach Boardwalk where you finish and your post race festivities begin.

WATER STATIONS
Water Station will be located at approximately every 2 Miles.
RACE AMENITIES
Long Sleeve tech shirts will be given to each participant. Shirts can only be guaranteed to those that register prior to September 10th. If you are registering after this date and are concerned about a shirt, inventory will be loaded into the registration software. If your size is available when you register, then you will be guaranteed a shirt.
A special commemorative race premium will also be provide by NKS Distributors. We will announce this premium as we get closer to the race date.
FINISHER MEDALS
ALL 10K PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A FINISHER MEDAL!! The 2021 race medals will be released at a later date. Each 10K finisher will earn a medal to commemorate their successful completion of the race.
COURSE AMENITIES
Mile Marker sign at each mile, water station on the course. Toilets at start/finish.
10k AWARDS
Awards Ceremony: The awards ceremony will take place on the Bethany Beach Bandstand following the race.
Overall Winners and Masters: Trophies will be awarded to the overall male and female champions as well as male and female Masters Champions.
Age Groups: Awards go to the top three male and female age group finishers for the 10k in each of the following divisions: 13 and Under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and Up.
