Fundraising TOOLS
5 Fundraising Tools For Success!
1. Be strategic with who you ask
When you’re considering who to ask, think of people in your circle who may have a heart for vulnerable kids.
2. Make it direct and personal
While social media is a great platform to get the word out about Bethany’s Walk Run Go Further For Family, don’t forget to reach out to people personally. It’s common for posts, messages, and emails to be missed, but a face to face request can be both memorable and meaningful.
3. Stay organized
Keep a list of the people you want to invite to sponsor you and record the times you contacted them and how much you asked them to give.
4. Follow-up, follow-up, follow-up
Life gets busy - remind people that they have an opportunity to impact kids’ lives by sponsoring you. It’s completely okay if someone can’t donate, but a reminder can be helpful if they haven’t yet responded.
5. Celebrate victories, no matter how small!
Make sure to thank everyone who sponsors you! All of the funds you are raising help protect kids, empower teens, and strengthen families. And that’s something to celebrate!
