Approved bib transfer procedure
The Big Bad Wolfe Run is popular in Columbus, and in each year it has sold out before race day. Unfortunately, this can also mean that scammers see an opportunity to take advantage of people. The race DOES allow for bib transfers up through the day before early pickup begins each year. Please note that this transfer MUST occur through our registration software's architecture. Specifically, if you are looking to purchase a registration from someone willing to sell to you, this will happen by your receiving an email from an @runsignup.com email address that has specific instructions on how to officially complete the process.
If you are handling inter-personal monetary exchange, you still need to follow the approved transfer process. DO NOT send anyone money before you have received your registration confirmation unless you know them personally, this can be a scam! We will not provide refunds for any payments applied outside the RunSignup universe.
