The Mark Minister Award
Thirty years after suffering a traumatic brain injury that left him with lifelong disabilities, Worthington native Mark Minister has been raising money for people who have suffered similar tragedies over the last few years. Mark and his wife, Brandy, have been fundraising for the annual Ohio State University Brain Injury Awareness 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk, and they have raised over $6,500 so far! We hope that the creation of the Mark Minister Award will continue to inspire brain injury survivors to make small steps towards big changes.
We are looking for nominees that exhibit courage in the face of adversity, resilience over challenge, and serve as an inspiration to those around them. We encourage anyone - whether caregivers, friends, healthcare providers, or survivors themselves - to submit nominations for this award! The 2024 Awardee will be honored at our 8th Annual Event at The Ohio State University.
We hope that the creation of the Mark Minister Award will continue to inspire brain injury survivors to make small steps towards big changes.
