Race Day Info

LOCATION:

All race activities, including packet pick-up and award presentations, will take place at Danville's Community Market, 629 Craghead Street, Danville,Virginia.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES/PACKET PICKUP:

Entry fee for 5K Walk, 5K Run, and 10K Run is $30.00 until March 1st . From March 2nd through Race Day, the entry fee is $35.00; Kids Fun Run is $15.00 for ages 10 & under (no refunds).
*You asked and we responded by increasing the hours for packet pickup this year! We want to make it more accessible for everyone to get in and out and get their race materials PRIOR to race day. Packet Pickup will take place at the Community Market on Friday, April 12th, from 12-6pm.
We STRONGLY suggest that you pick up your packet and race materials on Friday if at all possible!
****PLEASE NOTE-We will no longer be registering participants at packet pick up on Friday or on Saturday/Race Day. This does not mean that you cannot register yourself on the B2B website via your computer or phone-up until 8 am Saturday morning. Although we don't suggest that you do that! We will have a "SOLUTIONS TABLE" to address all types of registration questions/challenges but please plan on registering YOURSELF prior to race day. There is a lot happening on race day, and having our participants prepared ahead of time helps us all to pull off a more smooth, and enjoyable race AND for the race timers to deliver the most accurate race results possible. And that is our GOAL!
T-shirts are GUARANTEED to those who register by March 1st.

WALKERS:

If you are participating in the 5K walk, you should WALK ONLY. If you wish to combine walking and running, you should register for the 5K RUN. Walkers need to stay to the right and not walk together thus blocking people from passing. Walkers also need to be conscientious of runners who will be entering and exiting the River Walk Trail and sharing the road. Please stay alert!

LIQUIDS:

Available at turn-arounds and at the finish line.

PETS:

For their safety and ours, we ask that you refrain from bringing your pets onto the race course.
