Race Day Protocols (Updated as of 6/18/21)
Masks are no longer required. If you feel more comfortable to have one on - please feel free to wear it.
The Start Line will be setup to allow for social distancing if participants choose to do so.
Please self carry water if you feel you might need some on race morning while on the course, bottled water will be available at the finish line
After completing the race, athletes may collect their finish medal and grab a bottled water and a snack
Age group awards will be available after the results are finalized. A volunteer will have the medals to hand out. If awards are not picked up at event, recipients will be sent email when awards are available for pickup.
Spectators are welcome!
Race Day Protocols (as of 4/1/21)
Participants will be required to wear a mask before and after the race, in the start and finish areas. Carry mask with you to wear after crossing the finish line.
All volunteers will be required to wear a face mask the entire time that they are in the race area.
All race volunteers and athletes are asked to maintain a minimum of 6 feet of distance from others for the duration of the event.
Participant will be provided with start line details (which may include an assigned wave and time to enter the race area based on race pace)
No aid station will be provided - please plan to self carry if water will be needed.
Bottled Water will be provided at the finish line to "grab and go" No other post race refreshments
After completing the race, athletes may collect their medal and are asked to exit the facilities in a timely fashion. PLEASE maintain a minimum of 6 feet from other athletes or volunteers following the race.
Age group awards will be available after the results are finalized - no ceremony will take place. If awards are not picked up at event, recipients will be sent email when awards are available at the Visser Family YMCA for pickup.
We ask that spectators do not attend to avoid crowds on the race start, race course and finish line areas
If COVID restrictions prohibit an in-person event, participants may participate in the Virtual event. No refunds will be provided.
