Description
Welcome to Byron Days 5K presented by Knapp Orthodontics benefiting the SpartanNash YMCA. The 5K Race and Walk will start on Byron Center Avenue just north of the 84th and Byron Center intersection and wind through the Railside Community to Kent Trails returning to the finish line. Whether you are an avid racer or an occasional walker, there is something for everyone and all ages are welcome, including a Virtual 5K Run/Walk. See you at the start line!
COVID-19 Information: The health and safety of our race participants, staff, spectators, and volunteers is our number one priority. We will continue to monitor current and updated health and safety restrictions and revise our race day plan, if necessary. Any changes that occur will be communicated in a detailed and timely manner. We are committed to providing a safe, yet fun and engaging, experience for all involved parties. Thank you for your continued support and understanding!
Our event has been held in conjunction with the annual Byron Days Festival in July since 2005.
Changes for 2021:
- Please register by July 10 (extended to July 13) to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
- Online registration will remain open until the 8am start of the 5K - plan to register on your home computer before arriving or your phone on-site.
Kids Fun Run
The Kids' Fun Run has been cancelled for 2021. However, we encourage you to consider participating in the YMCA Kid's Run at the MetroWay 5K on July 15.
