New Date: TBD
First and foremost, we hope the current challenges find you safe and healthy. These are unprecedented times for our community and our thoughts are with those that are finding this crisis particularly difficult.
Sadly, with the uncertainty surrounding the outbreak and its duration we are tentatively cancelling our races. In the event the crisis ends sooner than expected we hope to organize races that will once again bring our community together in joyous racing.
We at the BayArea Kids Triathlon Series will continue to closely monitor the coronavirus outbreak and the guidelines of our various local public departments.
We thank you for your past support and look forward to the next race we can organize for you. Stay safe and healthy.

The Menlo Park Kids Triathlon (“MPKT”) is a triathlon specifically for kids age up to 15 years old. A triathlon is a race that consists of a combination of three sports: swimming, cycling, and running. The kids start the race with swimming at the Burgess Pool in waves (triathlon speak for groups) of 25 to 30 kids. From the swim, they run to the transition area to put on their helmets, shoes, and anything else they need. They then mount their bikes and head out to the bike course. When the kids are done with the bike, they head back to transition to put their bike away, and head to run round Burgess Park. They finish the race in the park by crossing through the finishing chute!
