"The Backcountry Wilderness Half was a bit of surprise. There are a lot of awesome races I've always wanted to do and this had been one on my list for a few years. En route I found the race to be challenging in all the right ways. To excel on a course like this requires versatility as a runner, which I always appreciate when picking events!"
Seth DeMoor- Inspirational and Motivational Running Vlogger
"The Backcountry Wilderness Half Marathon is the best trail half marathon on the Front Range. The course will challenge you and inspire you with grand views of the Rocky Mountains and the Denver skyline. The 13.1-mile course offers single track trails for much of the race, and great aid stations along the way. You cannot beat the post-race party either, with the famous pancakes and a refreshing beer after your hard effort on the beautiful trails. I would strongly recommend this race for all the half marathon fans out there who are ready for a challenge and post-race fun."
