Q - How does the Half Marathon Relay work?
A - The 2-person Half Marathon Relay covers the half marathon route. At the start of the event, the 1st leg person will start with other half participants – relay or not – at the starting line. The 2nd leg person is bused to our Relay Exchange Point inside of Roeding Park. This person will wait for the 1st leg person to complete the approximate 7 miles and hand off the "baton" to the 2nd leg person who will run the remainder of the route to the finish line. The 1st leg person (who just finished their leg of the race) will receive their finisher's medallion at the Relay Exchange Point then ride the bus back to the finish line at Chukchansi Park so they can cheer on their partner and enjoy our Finish Line Celebration!
Q - What is the time limits for the Run & Bike events?
A - The run events have a 4 hour limit. Our bike event BBQ & Beer Garden closes at 4pm , while the finish-line closes at 5pm.
