When you check in, you will receive a race number, also called a bib number. Your bib number is printed on a piece of paper that must be pinned to your run shirt or attached to a race belt and worn during the entire race.
You will also receive numbers for your bike and helmet. Most racers don’t want stickers attached to their bike frame, so we recommend folding the bike tag over one of your brake cables. Volunteers will verify that the bike you leave with matches your race number. Bib numbers, bike/helmet numbers and race shirts are distributed during packet pickup.
Timing services are provided by Race Timing Services.
A disposable timing chip will be attached to each bib upon receipt. A signal is transmitted every time a participant crosses a mat into the next segment of the race. Race results are based on overall times from start to finish, but racers also get a breakdown of their times for each segment (run, bike, and run).
Free key and baggage check will be available to duathlon registrants. Simply give the registration volunteer your bib number and your personal items, which will be secured while you race. Must present race bib to claim checked items. We will gladly keep a watchful eye on your belongings. While we’ve never encountered any issues in the past with items we secure, we cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.
EMS provided by TBD for the duration of the race.
Water/aid station will be available in the refreshment area and during the second run portion of the race. Runners will pass the aid station at or near the halfway or turnaround point. We will not have water on the bike course – make sure to bring a bottle.
Professional photographers will be onsite to document all phases of the race. A gallery of photos will be published post-race and searchable by bib number. SAVE YOUR BIB. All racers will receive access to free Facebook sized photos.
Massage therapists are available before, during and after the race. FREE.
