September 13, 2020, Clean Commute Options wants you to be part of Lansing’s premiere Du. The Come Clean Duathlon. It’s the first of its kind, and it promotes clean air, friendly competition and community involvement that’s sure to keep you on your feet—and bike seat—from start to finish. 1.4 MI RUN - 12.4 MI BIKE - 5K RUN


While the race is still several months away, CATA will continue to monitor and respond appropriately to COVID-19-related events as they unfold, keeping all duathlon participants, including racers and volunteers, as informed as possible about the disease’s impact on our event. Should COVID-19 force us to postpone the Come Clean Duathlon, your registration fee will be refunded in full. Thank you for your patience and understanding.


Packet pickup for the CATA Come Clean Duathlon takes place on Friday before the race. Pickup location will be at Playmakers in Meridian Township, MI (2299 W Grand River Ave, Okemos, MI 48864). Participants are free to stop in to the store from noon to 8 p.m. to collect their bib numbers, race shirts, and race bags. Interested candidates that have not signed up may also do so during the packet pickup time.

  • Overall Male & Female: First place—$500; Second place—$250; Third place—$125.
  • Overall Male & Female Masters (40 & Older): First place—$500; Second place—$250; Third place—$125.


Clean Commute Options (CCO) is a service of CATA (Capital Area Transportation Authority). We promote alternative ways to travel such as biking, walking (or running!), bus, and car/vanpooling to help keep emissions down and our air clean!
