Coronado Turkey Trot presented by Rady Children’s Hospital Auxiliary

Due to Thanksgiving tourist congestion on Coronado, race organizers cannot guarantee parking will be readily available or easy near the start line. Please plan accordingly by arriving early.

 

PARKING

 

Parking at Tidelands Park is first come, first serve. Parking will also be available on residential streets in Coronado. Please obey all posted parking signs and restrictions and do not block driveways. The race will start promptly at 8:00 am. 

 

RIDESHARE:

We strongly encourage carpooling to the event. Instead of parking on the island, park on the other side of the bridge in Barrio Logan and Uber across. There is ample free street parking near Chicano Park and Perkins Elementary School, located at 1770 Main Street. Exit Cesar Chavez Blvd on the San Diego side of the bridge. Plan on parking 1-hour prior to your start time.

Tidelands Park is first come, first serve. Arrive before 6:45AM as this lot will be full prior to 7:00am.

 

Cars parked in the Smart & Final or Broadstone Apartment Complex parking lots will be subject to towing. The Marriot and Ferry Landing offer paid parking with rates ranging between $10-$30. Prices are subject to change based on vendor pricing.

 

 There is free street parking close to the park. Plan to walk as far as one mile to the start line.
