I&#39;m supporting Caring for Cambodia&#39;s 2022 Race to Better Education because I know the amazing impact this organization has on the lives of the thousands of boys and girls CFC serves.
In Cambodia, a country where nearly three-quarters of the population still lives on less than US$3 a day, education is key to breaking the cycle of poverty. Civil war and genocide destroyed the education system of this beautiful country and threatened to ruin the lives of its amazing people. 
Caring for Cambodia is leading the charge to change that horrible history and to help families rebuild their lives, their communities, and their country. As the model school for Cambodia&#39;s Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport, CFC has introduced world-class teacher training, early childhood education, gender equity, ICT/STEM, and many more programs to its students. 
All funds raised through this event will provide life-changing education to 7,000 children in Cambodia. But this isn’t just education, it is food, healthy life, and a brighter and more vibrant future for all of Cambodia… and it only takes $180. 
$180 = Education for one child for a year $60 = One bicycle, a necessity for transportation to and from school  $30 = Two nutritious meals six days a week for one child a year $15 = A quarterly hygiene pack to one student for a year
