The Home Run 5K is held annually at the Free Will Baptist Children’s Home in Middlesex. It serves to raise awareness of the youth served through our programs. The Children’s Home provides a home to children who are victims of abuse, neglect, and abandonment. The Home has served children and families in Central and Eastern NC for 100 years and continues to do so through your support.
Our programs include Alternative Family Placement (foster care which serves youth 12 & up) in cottages on our campus in Middlesex; Family Foster Care & Adoptions which licenses families throughout Central and Eastern NC and places children of all ages into these homes; and Bridge Learning Center which provides all-day Pre-K and before/after school care for local elementary students.
