Listening Walk at the Zoo

Sat June 16, 2018 Mendon, MA 01756 US

Event: Listening Walk

Clarke’s Listening Walk is designed to encourage children who are deaf or hard of hearing to use their
listening skills and discover new sounds throughout the Zoo, like the honk of a flamingo or the squeak of a
bat. Children will learn animal names, and their distinct sounds. Each child will have a Listening Walk Passport to keep track of the Listening Walk Stops visited.

Clarke’s Listening Walk at the Zoo will be fun and educational for children and will draw the general public’s attention to the fact that children who are deaf or hard of hearing can listen and talk.
