7th Annual Thanksgiving Day Pilgrim 5K Run and Fitness Walk
This is the main event! Runners will traverse the Old Sandwich Road, which was constructed in 1630, making it the first true public road in America. Runners should be prepared for an amazingly "green" experience. In November 2013, Runners World Magazine awarded Old Sandwich Road the "Trail of the Month Award" for it's scenery, historic significance and it's soft surface. The surface is a soft, manicured dirt surface which is easy on your legs and fun to move across.
