Event: Pine Knoll Shores Turkey Trot 5K Run

Join us for the 16th annual Pine Knoll Shores Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning, November 23rd. The Turkey Trot is a free run/walk event, and all are welcome.

The 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk begins at 8:30 AM but participants are asked to arrive earlier mitigate some of the car traffic.

The run / walk course follows the residential streets of Pine Knoll Shores and also passes through the Crystal Coast Country Club golf course.

You are welcome to walk the event but baby strollers will not be permitted on the golf course. However, if you wish to walk the entire 5K, we ask that you consider doing two loops of the dog walk course. Dogs are not allowed on the Golf Course.

At the finish, water, bananas and treats will be available for participants.

This year we are offering online registration for this free event. Same day registration will also be available beginning at 7:30 AM at the start location but no new registrations will be taken after 8:00 AM

The Turkey Trot is sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Committee and will occur rain or shine. All ages are welcome, and we ask that you make a donation to the Hope for the Warriors Angel Tree when you register online...and look for our volunteers who will be taking donations on site as well...Thank you.

Event: Pine Knoll Shores 1.5 Mile Stroll & Dog Walk

A 1.5-mile dog walk is an easy walk around the "tree streets" of Pine Knoll Shores. The event will start 5-minutes after the start of the 5K run. However, the course does not go through the country club as dogs are not permitted.
