Details

We need many volunteers to run a successful event. Please click on the VOLUNTEER button if you would like to help guide participants along the course. You'll be assigned a particular place to guide participants. The race director will provide you a map of your specific location. And, you'll receive a free T-shirt for becoming a volunteer! Please be available from 7:30 AM until the event finishes at approximately 10 AM.

Location

Be at McNeil Park at 7:30 and meet up with the volunteer coordinator.

Volunteer to help at Race Day Registration High Priority

Details

We need several volunteers to be stationed at the registration table, beverage table and the T-shirt pickup table. Please be available from 7:30 AM until the event finishes at approximately 10 AM. And, you'll receive a free T-shirt for becoming a volunteer!

Volunteer to help at the Finish Line High Priority

Details

We need several individuals to help at the finish line to distribute water and bananas to participants, as well as helping participants complete their finish line card. We will be scoring the race for age and gender categories. Please be available from 7:30 AM until the event finishes at approximately 10 AM. And, you'll receive a free T-shirt for becoming a volunteer!

Location

The bridge at McNeil Park.

Volunteer to be the Lead Biker High Priority

You must be 15 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

This person will lead the runners along the course until the Crystal Coast Country Club. At that point, the runners will be on their own along the golf course. The biker will then proceed to the corner of Fairways Ct. and Cypress Drive to pick up the lead runners and guide them toward the finish line.

Volunteer as a Split Timer High Priority

You must be 15 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

This person will call the time for runners passing the 1 mile, 2 mile and finish line. We will require that this person use their cell phone to communicate with the race director and listen for the start of the race in order that they have the correct time when the race starts.

Volunteer to pick up food and beverages High Priority

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

We need two volunteers to pick up bananas, water, donuts, coffee and hot chocolate for the race participants. We will provide funds so they can purchase the food. This will need to be picked up both the day before and on the day of the race.
