Super HYAK Marathon

The Super HYAK Marathon is a point-to-point, USATF-certified course designed for runners seeking a fast, fair, and scenic Boston Qualifier or personal record.
Starting near Snoqualmie Pass and descending through the Cascade foothills, the course features smooth, gradual downhill grades that are highly runnable from start to finish. With nearly 1,500 feet of total descent and no Boston Marathon time penalty, Super HYAK consistently attracts runners focused on performance while still delivering a stunning mountain-to-valley experience.

Marathon runners will pass through remote sections of trail, including the iconic Snoqualmie Tunnel, before finishing in North Bend. Aid stations are placed at regular intervals, and generous cutoffs allow runners to race confidently while remaining well supported throughout the course.

This event is ideal for experienced marathoners and first-time marathon runners looking for a forgiving downhill profile, and anyone chasing their fastest possible 26.2 on a certified course.

Super HYAK Half Marathon

The Super HYAK Half Marathon offers the same fast, scenic downhill experience as the full marathon in a shorter, highly runnable format. This USATF-certified course is ideal for runners targeting a personal record, a strong season opener, or a memorable Pacific Northwest race.

Beginning along the Palouse to Cascades Trail, the half marathon features smooth, consistent downhill grades through forested terrain and mountain scenery. The gradual descent allows runners to settle into rhythm early and maintain steady pacing throughout the race, making it both fast and forgiving.

With professional race management, well-spaced aid stations, and full shuttle and drop-bag support, the Super HYAK Half Marathon delivers a polished, runner-focused experience. It’s a great choice for seasoned half marathoners chasing a PR, runners stepping up from shorter distances, or those looking to experience a premier downhill course without committing to the full marathon distance.
