Join us for the 6th Annual AdventHealth Clermont Freedom 5K presented by LiveTrends Design Group on July 4th in Downtown Clermont, Florida! Whether you're running or walking, this fantastic course is perfect for enjoying the holiday with family and friends. Can't make it in person? No problem! You can run virtually and still receive all the awesome race swag.
Kick off your Independence Day with a healthy start, earn a custom medal, and celebrate at the finish line party at Suncreek Brewery. Cool down with refreshing cold watermelon, beverages, and post-race snacks.
The 2025 race returns to its roots, starting at Clermont City Hall, where the very first Freedom 5K began in 2020. Check out the new route map—less trail, more fun!

What do I get with my Entry?
Accurate Timing, a custom running race tank that is gender specific!! Custom Finisher's Medal, Finish line at Suncreek Brewery, Post Race snacks, beverages and watermelon! All runners and walkers on the course MUST BE REGISTERED. Anyone running without a bib is subjecting themselves to a misdemeanor and putting the race in jeopardy. If you want to pace a child, spouse or friend, you MUST register as well. BANDIT AND PACING RULES
Can I dress up?
Absolutely!! Come dressed in your most festive patriotic costume and enter to win the contest!! Categories are for the best Female, Male and Team costume!
Packet Pick-up
July 2nd 2 PM - 6 PM & July 3rd 2 PM - 6 PM at Dash Sports (741 W Montrose St Clermont FL 34711) and race day 6:00AM-7:00 AM. You may pick up race bibs for a friend but you must have their QR code and correct spelling of their name. This will avoid all spelling errors and the possibility of you picking up the wrong packet!! PACKETS NOT PICKED UP BY RACE MORNING WILL NOT BE HELD.
Virtual Packets: Packets will automatically be shipped within two weeks after the race and will either have a paper bib or digital one via email. We cannot ship outside the US. Feel free to post a picture of yourself completing the race and tag us @flodashevents #flodashrunner #virtualrace

Race Morning
6:00-7:00 AM - Packet pick-up. Race day registration will be available online until 6:55 AM. There is no onsite registration, you must register on your own device prior to the registration deadline. We will not be keeping the starting line open for late participants as in the past years. All packets must be picked up by no later than 7:00 am, no exceptions.

Parking
Please refer to the Clermont City parking map below to locate the several available lots.
Group Pricing
Bring your friends, co-workers or family members and create a team!! Teams of 4 or more will receive $5 off each participant. Upon creating the team, the first 3 registrants will pay full price, once the team minimum of 4 members has been reached, the previous 3 registrations will receive an automatic $5 refund. All registrations to the same team after that will already reflect the $5 discount. May not be combined with other discounts, like race bundles.
Strollers and Dogs on the course
If you must have a stroller we just ask that you please line up at the back of the pack. Dogs are NOT allowed on course. If you have a service dog please contact the race director ahead of time. Participants with dogs will be asked to leave the course. All dogs at the post race party must be leashed at all times.
Donations to the race
All donations made are going to the Code 4 Initiative. Code 4 Initiative is a 501c3 non-profit that provides financial assistance to officers and their families in Florida that have been catastrophically injured or killed. Code 4 Initiative helps law enforcement families who are already dealing with a difficult situation, by helping reduce their financial burden. This is the same non profit that benefits from the Honoring the Fallen 5k proceeds and is organized by the Clermont Police Department.
Awards Ceremony
The amazing awards provided by Live Trends Design Group will begin around 8:45am. Categories are top 3 Male and Female overall, Top Male and Female Masters (40+), Top Male and Female Grand Masters (50+) and top 3 Male and Female in 5 year age groups, starting with 9 and under up to 75 and over. You may log back in to this page and click on the results tab or look for the QR code’s on your bib. Awards must be picked up during our ceremony and will not be help post race. 🏆 Living Art Continues: The awards from LiveTrends Design Group aren't just any awards; they are living art pieces that add a whole new layer of sophistication to our recognition moments. Each piece, a testament to the seamless blend of nature and design.

Each 2025 race medal is designed to connect, allowing you to create a beautiful display as you complete the series. Collect all six medals throughout the season, and you’ll receive an exclusive topper for free at the end of the year. If you collect 2-5 medals, you’ll have the option to purchase any leftover toppers to complete your display. This unique feature celebrates your achievements and provides a memorable way to showcase your dedication!

Downtown Clermont has several public parking lots marked with stars on the map below. Please give yourself plenty of time race morning to find your preferred parking and walk to the start. Please note the start is in front of City Hall (green dot) and the finish is at Suncreek Brewery (red dot), just one block away from each other.
